You know, Sue, I was wondering the exact same thing. I'm thinking it has a lot of silicon buffed into it to make it shine like that OR it's something designed more for fetish only (and perhaps not approved by Orca, LOL). It doesn't appear to be neoprene...hmmm, things to ponder :)
