     Hi All! Didn't mean to be away so long...first came Thanksgiving, then I turned 48 over the weekend and, after all that fun, I threw my back out a bit on Monday morning doing a simple thing like making the bed of all things...feeling better now. Had to take a couple of days off from work to rest the back...after that my doctor says any additional rest is counter-productive and a return to activity (like walking) is better.
     Early last week, I received over a dozen e-mails from someone identified as "Flat Eric" each containing dozens of lycra and rubber pics.  The only text in each e-mail said things like "Nice pics from the web" or "Nice lycra pics". I sent him a thank you e-mail but also want to thank him here and will be posting my favorites of the groups over the next few weeks. There's enough for about 20 separate posts. I'll give them a heading like "Thanks, Eric!" or something like that :)
     I did have catch a great eye opening pic Monday morning of Adam Killian in Slick It Up Jeans. Also, you'll notice a new banner ad for the new Slick It Up Jean Shorts ("Daisy Dukes" if you will) :)
     One final note, I hated not posting anything for World AIDS Day but I was glad to hear President Obama pledge an additional $50 million in funds towards the cause...especially because, by many accounts, this is a war we are winning (infection rates are falling!) and now is not the time to cut spending but to stay committed towards finding solutions and a cure.

I'm happy to say all is well in my little part of Hoboken, NJ. The west side of Hoboken is a bit flooded and without power at the moment. I stocked up on batteries and raisins and nuts and bread and bottled water but as it turns out I was very lucky. It rained A LOT but the power stayed on the entire time. Today, the rain was gone but the wind picked up. I live right near the Hudson River but it seemed to behave for the most part. Skip this post if you're not into psychology or if you think it's all psycho-babble. I didn't want to take away from Chase's pictures by blogging about this in the previous post BUT there is a short list of men that truly make me smile and I'm always happy to blog about and post pics of. Maybe one day I'll let you in on the short list :)
My dilemma is I can never figure out whether, in my imagination and if it were magically possible, I'd like them as boyfriends, husbands or big/little brothers. I have 2 older brothers. One is so passive and irresponsible (except when he's watching football...then he's excitable...but, then again, he's WATCHING which is, once again, in and of itself, passive). He's the most annoying kind of passive, also, in that he just let's life go by and never takes a stand and certainly won't come to anyone's defense. And to sound like a 4-year old....he's just stupid!
My other brother is just downright mean. He appears nice on the surface but once you know how his mind works, you realize he's all about self-interest and scheming. What amazes me is how moralistic & judgmental he comes off but I've experienced his slippery code of ethics first hand. He definitely doesn't live by the rules and standards he sets for others.
Which brings me back to the men I like to blog about repeatedly...they usually have what to me are strikingly handsome and kind faces and what I always hope & imagine are nurturing natures....oh yeah, and usually LOTS OF MUSCLES to snuggle against :) I wouldn't say the muscles are madatory but it'd be nice to have something solid to fall back on. I sometimes wonder what it's like to have close relationships with siblings. And I must add, don't get me started on father issues, LOL! It's only recently I find I can converse better with men without being so nervous about it. This can be a problem/situation when you're gay!!! But then again, it's mostly the heterosexual variety I'm socially awkward with. But I do find it funny how all this draws me even more to certiain types of sexy, wonderful men.
One final note...I'd want them as either lovers OR siblings exclusivley and NEVER both at the same time! :)
